Exercise Nutrition for Athletes, Wednesday, 4/18, 6-7pm
Learn how to effectively refuel before, during, and after exercise to improve performance and aid in workout recovery. The lecture will cover an overview of nutrition fundamentals as well information to help improve your exercise nutrition plan. Discussions will center around using science based information to help see past sport nutritional manufacturer’s marketing information and understand the uses for various products in all types and distances of endurance sports. This is also your opportunity to sample a wide variety of nutritional products (gels, bars, etc.) from different manufacturers to help you find the taste that you like.
