As per USAT rules you must pick up your packet as we’re not allowed to release it to friends, husbands, wives, or relatives.

BIB NUMBER

The bib number must be worn on the front of your body during the entire run portion of the event. The run number does not have to be worn during the bike portion of the event. You’ll receive a separate number that will attach to the front of your mountain bike.

BODY MARKING

Body marking will take place on race morning beginning at 5:00 am prior to the race start just outside the transition area. You must be body marked before the transition area closes at 7:00am. Timing chips will be picked-up in the morning at a specially marked tent next to the transition area – please bring your run number to the timing chip tent.

TRANSITION AREA

Opens at 5:00am. Bikes will be racked at that time and any gear for the bike to run transition will be placed near your bike, please no bags near the fencing or at the end of transition racks. Please have helmets visible as you enter the transition area for our volunteers to check. There is no required bike check for the event, but your bike must have bar end plugs. The transition area is strictly limited to racers only and will be closed at 7:00am (15 min prior to the Wave 1 race start). Following the race, the XTERRA Syracuse staff will re-open transition as soon as the last cyclist has proceeded to the run course. CHIP TIMING

Timing conducted by Score This!!! (http://www.score-this.com). Each participant will pick-up a timing chip on race morning. Please fasten the chip band securely on your ankle. We recommend that you wear it under your wetsuit to avoid the possibility that it gets pulled off during the swim, or when you remove your wetsuit. Your timing chip must be worn during the entire race to receive split times and a finish time. Finish line volunteers will remove your timing chip. These chips must be returned at the finish line following the race or you will be charged the $32 replacement cost. If you decide to withdraw from the race, please stop by the finish area and return your chip.
