2012 SYRACUSE BICYCLE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS RIDE
Another successful Breast Cancer Awareness Ride in the books. Over 400 riders braved the chilly morning to raise funds and bring awareness to a very good cause.  Thanks to all that came out.

SAVE THE DATE!

Green Lakes State Park
Fayetteville, NY

Hosted by Trek Women and Syracuse Bicycle, the Breast Cancer Awareness Ride aims to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention, screening, and treatment by joining forces with women and men of all ages and abilities to ride on the same day, at the same time, across the United States and Canada.

The ride offers a 25-mile route on the scenic, flat roads north of Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville and a 10-mile family friendly route on the Erie Canal path. Fees for each are $25 and all proceeds go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Each rider receives a goody bag, opportunity to win great door prizes, and entry to our post-ride party with live music and great food courtesy of Angotti’s Family Restaurant!

THANK YOU FOR MAKING US THE LARGEST RIDE IN THE COUNTRY IN BOTH 2010 and 2011!
Last year, we had over 400 riders participate, making our ride the largest in the country for the second year in a row out of the over 200 scheduled rides.  Check out photos from the event on our Facebook page!
