We try not to make exceptional customer service too complicated. That means empowering our entire staff to go above and beyond for our customers. “How can we help?” is how our staff greets each and every customer, followed by attentive listening and genuine concern for their needs. After all, we’re cyclists ourselves, so we’re always curious to hear the challenges of our customers and see how their experience might help us to help them.
We have a sign on our storefront (and even on our logo pint glasses) that says “No one can ride their bike everywhere, but everyone can ride their bike somewhere.” And we’ve used that slogan as a guiding principle in both the programs we offer and the leadership we provide in our community. The entire Syracuse Bicycle staff shares a passion for not only selling bikes, but for helping our customers positively and safely experience their world from the vantage point of a bicycle seat. And we think that’s a pretty cool way to do business.
