Kuota may be the new kid on the block, but their bikes come with plenty of attitude. Having taken the tri world by storm with Norman Stadler’s stunning victory at the ’04 Hawaii Ironman, Kuota is raising the bar for other carbon manufacturers to rise up to. The Kuota Kalibur is one of the most beautiful time trial / multisport frameset around. Phenomenally light at a scant 1120 grams for a size medium, the Kalibur is also the lightest TT frameset available. Impressive and threatening, the Kalibur is all business. Pedigree? Although just a youngster, this frame has already thrown down the gauntlet: it was victorious at the 2004 and 2006 Kona Ironman.
